Policies and Procedures

Shipping:

  • New purchase: Shipping costs are included in the product pricing unless otherwise noted. Typically, shipping (Dealer destination charges) are common on larger machines where shipping costs are significant. For ordered products not in inventory additional shipping charges can apply. We will make every effort to minimize these additional charges.
  • Warranty Parts: At the request of the manufacturer, they may require defective parts to be sent in for inspection prior to authorization of the proposed warranty repair. The cost to ship the parts is the responsibility of the customer. If the warranty is authorized, the manufacturer will provide the replacement part and ship at their expense. If the warranty is denied and you wish to have the part returned. It is your responsibility to pay for the cost of return shipping.
  • Warranty Service: Some warranties include labor and some do not. Shipping and delivery expense is not covered under any warranty service. Be sure to understand your warranty completely if warranty work is needed.
  • Replacement Parts: Replacement parts and accessories that TC West Motorsports has in inventory will already have shipping cost factored into pricing. Any parts or accessories ordered through TC West Motorsports will require additional shipping above pricing you may see advertised. TC West will always be upfront about the cost of shipping when ordering parts, however, we cannot guarantee shipping delivery schedule as this is out of our control.

Returns:

  • New Equipment Purchase: You have 3 days (72 hours) to return a new machine purchase to TC West Motorsports. There is a 6% restocking fee for a machine purchased out of inventory and a 15% restocking fee for machines ordered in. If you purchased out our inventory, you have the option to exchange your equipment for another of equal or greater value without incurring the restocking fee. If you choose to exchange for a vehicle of lesser expense, the restocking fee must be paid on the difference. If you purchased a machine by order, the restocking fee applies even if you make an exchange or place an order for another. In the case of an ordered machine that is exchanged for another ordered machine or one that is in current inventory; TC West Motorsports, solely at our discretion, we may waive or reduce the restocking fee. Example: A youth machine purchased as a gift and once presented, it is discovered the machine is too big or small. In this case, we will happily get you the correct size item. Any machine returned, MUST be in new condition, without signs of any noticeable wear or damage. If wear or damage does exist, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
  • Parts and Accessories: You have 30 days to return or exchange parts and accessories purchased from TC West Motorsports inventory as long as the part is in new, undamaged and resalable condition. Any parts or accessories which are ordered can only be returned for a full refund if the part is incorrect and the mistake was made by TC West. We may, at our discretion, accept a return if we can return the part to supplier, where as a restocking fee, usually 15% would apply.

Order Cancellation:

  • New Equipment Purchase: All machines ordered must be paid in full at the time of order, except during TC West Motorsports special promotion. Normal order processing: You have 72 hours to cancel and receive a full refund, minus a 6% processing fee. Expedited processing: With expedited processing, the order can only be canceled if the machine has not been shipped. You are, however, allowed to have us return the machine at your expense plus the 6% order cancel processing fee. If you order a machine out of inventory for later pick up, it is treated as a return and return rules apply.
  • Parts and Accessories:All parts and accessories must be paid for in full at the time of order.Your order can only be canceled as long as the order has not been shipped. If the order has been shipped, the ordered parts and accessories can be immediately returned using the rules under our return policy.

PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection):

  • New Equipment: Machines sold at TC West Motorsports is done so at our dealership where a full PDI inspection is performed prior to, and, confirmed at delivery. This PDI inspection is performed for quality control and to validate the manufacturer’s warranty. All equipment purchased through TC West Motorsports and delivered from TC West is subject to full PDI. At times, at customer request, a machine is sent directly to a customer at their location. These machines are sold “as is” on a wholesale level, whereas, no TC West Motorsports PDI is performed and the corresponding manufacturer may, at their discretion, limit or void warranty coverage.

Warranty:

  • Parts and Repair Service: All parts, and, service and repair are subject to a 90 day warranty against any defect in materials and workmanship. For parts purchase; the warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective part and no other warranty is expressed or implied. For service and repair; the warranty covers parts and labor of the covered parts and service, but does not cover additional work that may need to be done outside of the specific service performed. Parts purchased, and, service and repair warranties do not cover; loss of use, towing, delivery or any other expenses incurred as a result of failed a failed part or repair.
  • New Equipment: Each manufacturer and machine has its own warranty. The procedures to validate and obtain warranty coverage must be followed as set forth be the manufacturer. Your machine may have additional coverage’s or limitations, be sure to know your warranty coverage.
